Navigating Marriage In Our Modern World

How do you navigate marriage in today’s modern world?
There’s a right and wrong way, and those who adapt and grow together thrive. One side says men should work while women stay home. Another insists women must focus on independence. Then there’s the idea of avoiding marriage altogether, claiming you don’t need anyone.
People frame it as left vs. right, but the truth is, it’s often people with unresolved personal struggles trying to dictate how others should live.
Successful marriages don’t follow extremes or care about the opinions of others. Marriage isn’t just for raising kids, though that’s important. Its purpose is to make two people stronger together, ready to face life’s hardships.
Society claims there are no rules, but the world is harsh, and few truly care about you, except a spouse who’s invested in your growth and well-being.
The ones who disagree use their children, or other people to fill that void. That’s why so many struggle with loneliness, depression, and even suicide. Deep down, they know the “do it all alone” narrative is a lie.
It’s why they distract themselves but that keeps them constantly chasing voids.
The way forward isn’t division or dismissing marriage; it’s finding someone who challenges you to grow and standing by each other when life gets tough. Real growth comes from changing yourself for the better to be better in relationships.
Avoid voices promoting division between men and women. These people often focus on past pain and fear instead of taking accountability for their role in their failures.
Blaming others only adds to the problem.
Social media may reward toxic behavior, but you don’t have to follow the algorithm. Focus less on attention-seekers and more on becoming the change that benefits yourself and others.
That’s how you build a meaningful life.
